Amy's wearing her Pac-Man shirt. Mom's doing mom stuff (helping us all get food looks like). Sally appears to be eating a Ding-Dong. Jeff's little (big)head is peeking out from behind Sal. Randa enjoying the scene from Heaven. Dad taking the picture. An idea may be forming in my mind of having a conversation through song with the sea. Mom describes on the back "July 1982, a super day at the beach."
More super days are soon to be. He he!

LOVE THAT!!!!!
I Can't wait! Dan and I have been talking today about what else we need. Does anyone know about cooking is there a pit? We have a dutch oven we probably need at least 1 more. Mom do you have yours still? I have a camp stove too and a lrg. tent and a medium one. Kate are you making the sleep arrangments? Then we can do a menu schedule.
Yes I can do the sleeping arrangements but I do still need your lot# so we know how many tents fit there.
I haven't had time to go looking for my equipment yet...need to get through Decades adn teh last set of essays, then I'll focus on camping and girls' camp.
But I think I have at least 1 dutch oven--there may be 2. I have a big 2-room tent, that I'll try to find and set up next week to make sure it's good. I have a 2-burner Coleman stove and a lantern or two, a set of cooking pots and a griddle, a stand-up rack (in a fire pit) and a bog orange 5-gal water jug with a spout. There's probably more, but I haven't gone looking for it in a long time.
Great picture! I'm getting excited too!
And Jeff, yes, you should be able to sleep in your truck--we're allowed 2 or 3 (I don't remember which) cars per site, so I don't see why not. Takin' right after Dad, I see!
We have a lantern I just bought for the Father/Son outing. Glad you have all that stuff mom! How about the soap in a nylon stocking? :)
1 car free per site- $10 each after that. Thats what the guy told me.
Jeff- did escrow close? are you a home owner?
Lot 98 -so I don't forget
WHEW! close call
I'm looking for the can of pork n' beans sitting in the firepit cooking... But I do see that red and white Coleman and that famous (and really heavy) picnic basket. These beach pictures may be the most nostalgic of my childhood memories. I love this! Thanks, Kate.
Agreed I told Dan the same thing that picture brings them all back! It IS one of my favorite memories!
