Sony Quality
In my recent move I finally trashed (with a reverberating thud in the dumpster) this lovely CD player. I got it for my 16th birthday from Mom and Dad, and it served me well for a good 14 years now. Sure, it's been a little spotty for the last few, but overall this product alone has won my customer loyalty. I can't think of any other object that has brought me so many years of happiness. I do love music. Ah, well. I love my iPod, too. But I have serious doubt its battery life will exceed 14 years. So, thanks Mom! Great gift. The end of a glorious era here!

My Favorite
Heaven help me I love these chips. It's getting where I don't want to even walk down that aisle they're on b/c I can't resist them! I have been known to eat the whole bag before. More than 1 time. (This picture is in fact an empty bag I just polished off) So I'm wondering how many meals that would count for. 1 or 2? I've probably gained 5 off these dang things. If you're good at calorie counting fill me in. Oh and I have grandpa to thank for the addiction b/c I first tried them at mom's. Help- that picture on the front is soon to be me!

Oh yeah?
A lot of driving= A lot of fun
I had a great time on my quickish trip down to Az this weekend. Here are some pictoral highlights.
All the big girls went out to one of my favorite food places, PeiWie, which is not available within a good 200 miles of Cedar.
Kate couldn't handle the Chopsticks.
We somehow scored an endless game of air hocky at Amazing Jakes. It kept Dallin entertained for a long time. Me too actually.
Campbell has a lot of hair now.
Non pictured highlights include watching a lot of Olympic races. Cuddleing with Holly a lot. Finding out that California Pizza Kitchen has a 'love it or send it back' gaurentee. A second chance to hear the lessons of Sunday School and RS in Katies ward. Making cookies with Tatum and getting to hang out with my STILL cool big sisters.
Love you guys.
Company Car!
It's a Mustang! That's how I roll... Okay it's not a company car it was just a rental that I drove to for a meeting I had in Flagstaff, AZ. The drive usually takes me about 3 1/2 hours but this time I did it in only 2. Just kidding but it was fast and the handling was great. When I got home that night I drove around the strip for a while it was pretty cool.

And That's The Way It Was...
Channel 8 (CBS) had a "Fall Preview Party". This is when they invite us down to the station and show us the new shows they're going to have this fall. They also tell us what great ratings they have and why we should buy time for our clients on their station. Anyway I can't say that I'll be watching any of their shows this fall but it was fun to sit behind their news desk and read from the teleprompter. I also got to sit in their news helicopter. We asked for a ride but they said it would be against station policy yahtaa, yahtaa, yahtaa...

Look to the right
I started a blog. I'm to tired to comment much about it right now, but I think it's pretty cool. I plan to make it more 'thought based' than 'my life' based, because to be honest, my life is not too exciting.
Anyway, feel free to check it out.

Easy Rider
I don't know how to post this to the "Memories of Dad" area so here goes...
I remember how whenever we went to Big Bear in spite of the fact that he'd been driving two hours. Without fail and without going into the house he would disappear with the blue Yamaha motorcycle. Then he'd be gone for as a much as two hours. Of course when he came back at least two of us kids would be waiting for him so we could go on a ride. The funnest thing for me was when he finally let me go it alone. I was about 12 and he let me red an old Honda. I fell and distinctly remember him saying something like don't tell your Mom about this.
