Family: The Best Gift of All!

Each year, my favorite part of Christmas is having our family together. I'm so thankful that everyone came out and we had some time where we were all together. Here are some cute pictures I took that I thought I'd share. :)

Christmas Morning

I love this one!

Cute Baby!

So I got mom's email tonight about Shaver Lake and it's good that we have to decide on that by Monday since we have to decide on beach camping by then too. I mapquested Shaver from here and it was 10 hrs. I don't like that part about it, but if that's what people want to do, we'll be up for it. It looks like the same time  frame we were thinking for beach camping (It's July 27th-Aug 2). Mom, do you know how much that costs?

Alright. Lets figure this out :)

I got excited when I saw the email about Shaver. So many good memories there. I'm pretty sure if we went there, Eter couldn't come at all. If it's beach camping, he might be able to show up in the evenings, but maybe not still.

I seriously doubt that Carrie and Jeff will want to camp with a 6 week old baby GIRL, and I don't remember there being any hotels nearby....

Can Miranda go anywhere that week?

Those are my contributions to the discussion.

Your contributions are much appreciated. Shaver is def closer to Vegas than it is for us but yeah the hotel would be out if we went to Shaver. If picking Shaver makes it too hard for Carrie and Jeff- lets do the beach.

Sal- which do you prefer? Cost makes a difference too, we need to figure that out.

Shaver would be fun! Although I don't know when and if Dan will be takin any time off at that time so I may also be alone in which beach. Among seems more realistic for me. Maybe we can plan that for nest year?
PS I never got the email about that?

Amy- You and auto-correct are not friends.

I "like" Katie's comment.

I was also wondering if Shaver would really be as fun without the boats and toys.

But I'm still willing to do whatever.

Amy deciphered her comment for me at dinner tonight. "Maybe Shaver would be better next year". Basically, a vote for the beach. To me I guess the beach seems more doable too.

Sounds like the beach is really the better choice this year at least. Count me in wherever.

Miranda's working that week either way.

Yes, 4/5 good pics for me. I look HUGE in the last one! I told you. Candid never really does good things for me. Good motivation to get back to diet and exercise though.

Beach it is!!! Are we going for Doheny again? Since we don't know where Eter will be, I don't have much preference. At least we know there is a hotel close by if Carrie and Jeff are feeling brave enough to try it.

Yeah, with a two month old I can't do Shaver Lake. Plus the ward has changed a lot not sure it would be much like it was all those years ago. So like we said when we were all together we would do beach camping or at least we would like to. I don't know what this kid is going to be like not sure how much traveling we'll be able to do. But it sounds like beach camping is better for everyone else too. So I'll plan on attending and getting a hotel. Dana you're discount would be deeply appreciated :)

Hopefully this year we could at least be there like for Thursday-Saturday or Sunday.
